Driver injured after slamming into tree near 60th & Hampton

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police on Wednesday morning, March 12th responded to a crash in which a driver struck a tree.

It happened near 60th and W. Hampton -- near the intersection with Lincoln Creek Pkwy.

Police say a female driver left the roadway and struck a tree just before 10:00 a.m.

The driver was taken to the hospital for treatment. Her condition is not known.

No further details have yet been released.
