Green Bay Packers sign DT Letroy Guion

GREEN BAY (WITI) -- The Green Bay Packers have signed DT Letroy Guion. The signing was announced Monday, March 17th by Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson.

Guion, a 6'4", 315-pound seventh-year player out of Florida State, played for Minnesota for his first six seasons in the league after being selected by the Vikings in the fifth round (No. 152 overall) of the 2008 NFL Draft.

He started all 28 games that he appeared in for the club over the past two seasons, posting 72 tackles (32 solo), three sacks, two passes defensed, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery from 2012-13.

For his career, Guion has played in 68 games with 31 starts and has registered 129 tackles (65 solo), five sacks, two passes defensed, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.
