Milwaukee Wave 2014-15 season now in doubt

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The Milwaukee Wave received notification early Monday morning, March 17th from league offices in Tampa, Florida, that the MISL, Major Indoor Soccer League is restructuring and may not have an upcoming 2014-2015 season.

It was also learned that four of the seven teams have voluntarily resigned from the MISL with the prospect of joining the PASL, Premiere Arena Soccer League - a 20-team league, which is now the largest Professional Indoor Soccer league in the United States.

As a result, the Milwaukee Wave will be exploring all options in attempt to keep Professional Indoor Soccer alive in Milwaukee. In the meantime, team officials say they will be using this as an opportunity for some restructuring of the Milwaukee Wave franchise.

In the meantime, Milwaukee Wave Summer Camp registration continues and will still be alive and well during our restructuring phase.  Milwaukee Wave Summer Camp Registration information can be found online at www.MilwaukeeWave.com or by calling the Milwaukee Wave Front Office at 414-224-WAVE (9283).
