Proposal for The Rock Sports Complex

FRANKLIN (WITI) — Franklin has said “no” to paying $10 million for a baseball stadium — but that doesn’t mean the plan is dead.

The Rock Sports Complex’s owner has secured the rights for a Frontier League baseball team.

He wanted the city to help pay to build a stadium.

Franklin rejected the initial plan on Wednesday, April 2nd but wants to continue discussions with The Rock to see if another deal could be worked out.
