OAK CREEK (WITI) — A Milwaukee Fire Department official confirmed with FOX6 News it deployed a hazardous materials unit to the UPS facility on S. 6th Street in Oak Creek on Friday night, April 4th.

An Oak Creek Police official says nothing dangerous was found — and said deploying the hazmat unit was a precautionary measure.

Police say the call came in just before 6:00 p.m., and crews left the facility just before 11:00 p.m.

Police say the incident is being investigated as a “suspicious circumstances” call — and police continue to investigate.

Work operations were not interrupted by the investigation.

soooo nobody bothered to evacuate the workers? You put all those lives in danger just to get some packages loaded?
