Milwaukee police ask for help to solve three bank robberies

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee Police are asking the public to help solve three bank robberies, two of which may be related.

The first happened around 7:40 p.m. on March 18th at the Tri City Bank located at 18th and National Ave.

The suspect entered the bank and gave the teller a note demanding money. The manager stepped in and gave the suspect the money. The suspect then fled from the scene.

The suspect is described as a black man between 25-35 years-old, 6'2" tall, and between 200-220 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black skull cap, a black mask covering the mouth and chin, a black coat with a "Champion" emblem on the left chest, light-blue jeans, a gray or white shirt, dark shoes, and white latex gloves.



The second robbery, which may be related to the first, happened around 1:25 p.m. on March 22nd at the TCF Bank located near 54th and Capitol.

The suspect walked into the Piggly Wiggly grocery store and approached a TCF Bank teller and presented a note demanding money. The teller and a manager gave the suspect money that he then placed in his pockets before fleeing from the scene.

The suspect is described as a black man between 20-30 years-old, 6'2"-6'4" tall, with a slim build, and a dark complexion. He was wearing a black ski mask covering his face, a black or navy blue hooded sweatshirt with a "C" on the left breast pocket, gray gloves, and blue jeans.



Milwaukee Police are also asking for help solving a bank robbery just after 1 p.m. on March 25th at the U.S. Bank located near 55th and Capitol Dr.

The suspect approached the teller window and presented a demand note. The teller complied and the suspect put the money in her pocket and walked out of the bank.

The suspect is described as a black woman between 30-40 years-old, 5'11"-6' tall, with a slim build, a medium-to-dark complexion, and a black blemish on her face. She was last seen wearing a black head covering, a white T-shirt, a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood down, a black leather jacket, blue jeans, and light-colored tennis shoes.
