Milwaukee police investigate shooting near 37th & Wright

MILWAUKEE (WITI) — The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred at 11:34 p.m. near N. 37th and Wright on Thursday, April 3rd.

According to police, a 37-year-old victim was shot as he answered his front door.

Officials say the victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries.

The motive for the shooting is currently under investigation.
