Wisconsin Badgers' loss takes life out of Milwaukee party

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The Wisconsin Badgers' loss to the Kentucky Wildcats in the Final Four game Saturday took the life right out of fan parties in Milwaukee. The atmosphere went from overjoyed to subdued once the game was over.

At The Loaded Slate, fans stood shoulder to shoulder inside an extra tent the bar set up for the game. Hundreds packed the tent -- and cheered Wisconsin on throughout the game.

But at the final buzzer, even those with clear views of the screen were wishing they hadn't seen that ending.

"It was awful. The one time we miss one free throw the entire game. It was huge," said one fan.

"I'm very happy the team made it this far. But I'm extremely upset that it had to end the way," said another fan.
