It’s Milwaukee Day! But what is that?

This is an archived article and the information in the article may be outdated. Please look at the time stamp on the story to see when it was last updated.

MILWAUKEE (WITI) — It’s April 2014 or 4-14. Next Monday is the 14th — also 4-14 which is also the area code for the City of Milwaukee.

A few years back a couple of guys decided to play off that calendar coincidence and use that date as a chance to celebrate “Milwaukee Day.” It’s grown each year — and it’s really getting quite a following now.

Brent Gohde and Timm Gable are two of the co-founders of “Milwaukee Day” and joined the Studio A team on Wednesday, April 9th.

You should post this clip – I was interviewed last week about this (and I think I’m going to be on the news today). I’d be interested in learning more about Milwaukee day. You should also post the interviews of people’s favorite things about Milwaukee (I can’t see the news today as I’m at work).
