WHITEWATER (WITI) -- Approximately 200 animals died in a structure fire on Tri-County Line Rd. in Whitewater early Thursday, April 10th.

Fire crews were dispatched to the scene around 6:30 a.m. When they arrived, the structure had already collapsed and could not be saved.

Roughly 200,000 gallons of water were used to extinguish the fire and prevent it from spreading to other areas. There were no reported injuries to any firefighters or citizens.
