Proposed FedEx Ground distribution center could bring 446 jobs to Falls

MENOMONEE FALLS (WITI) -- FedEx Ground plans to hire 446 people for a distribution center proposed in Menomonee Falls, according to the Milwaukee Business Journal.

FedEx Ground is seeking village approval for its long-rumored package distribution center in Menomonee Falls.

It would be built on 30 acres at County Line Road, east of Pilgrim Road.

The building would operate 24-7, receiving packages to be delivered in the Menomonee Falls area, and accepting packages locally to be shipped out of the region.

Its hiring includes 205 full-time and 262-part time jobs, including 74 for an 8,625-square-foot office in the building, according to a village report.

Menomonee Falls Architectural Control Board will review the proposal Tuesday night, April 22nd.
