Where are the fish? Check state's new online fish locator map

MADISON (AP) — Wisconsin wildlife officials and the federal government have created an online map showing where the state's fish species are located.

The Department of Natural Resources and the U.S. Geological Survey Center for Integrated Data Analytics built the map using results from fish surveys dating back as far as 130 years. The map allows anyone to search for the locations of more than 160 species by county or habitat types. Users also can zoom in on specific water bodies to see what's in them.
