GREEN BAY (WITI) — There is a new video that has been posted to YouTube related to controversy involving the Green Bay Police Department. This, after an “arrest video” went viral.

The initial cell phone video was taken around bar closing time on S. Washington Street in downtown Green Bay.

The video shows a Green Bay police officer “taking down” Joshua Wenzel of Caledonia.

The video shows Wenzel swearing at Green Bay police officers — before he was taken down by Officer Derek Wicklund.

A Green Bay Police Captain says three people were arrested in the incident involving Wenzel. Wenzel says he was the third person arrested. He says he didn’t step toward the officer, or touch him — and says he doesn’t know the officer’s reasoning or logic for “taking him down.”

Wenzel was arrested for resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

The video was posted on Monday, April 21st — and quickly spread online.

An investigation into the incident is underway by the Green Bay Police Department.

Meanwhile, a new video has surfaced on YouTube.

The video alleges to be from a collective of hackers, known as “Anonymous” and has thousands of views on YouTube.

FOX6’s sister station in Green Bay, FOX11 WLUK says the Green Bay Police Department has said it is investigating “threats to officers.”

The Green Bay police department continues to investigate the incident on S. Washington Street — and FOX11 says when the investigation is complete, it will be turned over to the Wisconsin Department of Justice for review.

The most recent video posted to YouTube has since been removed “because its content violated YouTube’s “Terms of Service.” You can see clips of the video in FOX11’s report linked above.
