MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- A beer garden on wheels could be coming to a Milwaukee County Park near you. Estabrook Park's beer garden is one of the "driving" reasons for support of the idea.

The Milwaukee Business Journal reports Sprecher Brewing Company could operate a mobile beer garden in parks this summer. The Parks Department is negotiating a contract with Sprecher, Glendale, and hopes to have it completed in about a week, said Susie Devcich, the county's chief of recreation and business development.

Sprecher's President Jeff Hamilton says the beer gardens will be a lot more than a place for adults to drink. It will be for the entire family -- including sodas and floats for the kids. The beer garden itself will be moved around by an antique fire truck.

Sprecher hopes to have the schedule worked out soon -- with the first mobile beer garden happening in June.
