Armed suspects storm Cham Tap Bar, get away with cash

MOUNT PLEASANT (WITI) -- Police in Mount Pleasant are trying to track down two armed suspects who robbed the Cham Tap Bar on Durand Ave. just after midnight on Thursday, May 15th.

Officials say the suspects entered the bar, both of them displayed handguns before they got an undisclosed amount of cash and took off.



Witnesses told officers that one suspect appeared to be a black male. The race of the second suspect was unknown.

Both suspects appeared to be between 5’7” to 5’10 in height and between 160 lbs. to 190 lbs. They wore masks and dark-colored hooded sweatshirts.
