MILWAUKEE (WITI) — Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that occurred in the 4400 block of W. Villard on Tuesday night, May 20th.

According to officials, the 21-year-old male victim indicated he was shot while sitting on his porch.

He was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his non-life threatening gunshot wound.

The motive for this incident is unclear — and police say their investigation is ongoing.

    How many times do we read about people getting shot ‘just sitting on their porch’ late at night? Don’t be so naive – this is just another case of ‘snitches get stitches’. There’s obviously more to this story than an innocent person ‘just sitting on the porch’ and getting shot.
