Need a new best friend? Deals on dogs for Memorial Day at WI Humane Society!

RACINE (WITI) -- The Wisconsin Humane Society (WHS) Racine Campus is celebrating Memorial Day weekend with a special promotion for all dogs and puppies.

From Wednesday, May 21 to Saturday, May 24, all adult dog adoption fees have been reduced to $79 and all puppy fees are just $99.

“As the weather has been warming up, we’ve started to see an increase in stray dog intake, and we’re hoping that the discounted fees attract more adopters to open their hearts and homes to a homeless pup,” said Alison Kleibor, the director of the Racine Campus.  “We expect an uptick in stray dogs over the holiday weekend, as well, so the more dogs who go home, the more space we have to house stray dogs.”

In addition, WHS offers an ongoing 25% military discount for all active duty or veteran military at all three of their campus locations with valid proof of military service.

The Racine Campus will be open Wed-Friday 12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and is closed Sunday and Monday.
