Fatal crash: Man dies after striking barrier wall with motorcycle

MUKWONAGO (WITI) — A 50-year-old Hartford man died after the motorcycle he was riding left the roadway and struck a median barrier wall on I-43 in Mukwonago just before 10 p.m. on Saturday, May 24th.

The wreck happened in the northbound lanes of I-43 just north of Highway 83. After the initial impact, two other motor vehicles were involved in an accident. No injuries were reported by the people in the secondary crash.

Both directions of I-43 in the area of Highway 83 were closed for approximately five hours during the accident investigation.

The accident remains under investigation by the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department.
