Depressed goat ends hunger strike after reunion with burro friend

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- A goat named Mr. G and a burro named Jellybean lived together for a decade in neglect "on the property of a woman who could barely care for herself, let alone the dozens of dogs she hoarded and three barnyard animals," Animal Place stated.

After the animals were rescued, Mr. G and Jellybean were sent to different sanctuaries, causing Mr. G to become depressed.

After the separation, Mr. G refused to eat, and spent his days lying in the corner of his stall.

Then, a volunteer offered to make the 14-hour round-trip journey to reunited Mr. G with Jellybean.

Watch the heart-warming reunion.
