CUDAHY (WITI) — Cudahy police say a 43-year-old Milwaukee man had to be taken to the hospital after crashing his vehicle into an apartment complex on S. Packard Avenue on Saturday night, May 31st.

It happened around 9:18 p.m.

Police say the vehicle crashed into a 12-unit apartment complex in the 6200 block of S. Packard Avenue — and the vehicle’s driver was trapped.

The tenants of the apartment complex evacuated — and traffic was blocked in the area.

Cudahy Police and Fire Departments responded to the scene — and the driver was extricated.

He was taken to Froedtert Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

His condition is currently unknown.

Police say there was minor damage to the apartment complex — but residents were able to return to their homes once the vehicle was removed from the scene.
