First steps towards a bright future: Wheelchair-using graduate wows crowd!



RICHMOND, Virg. -- There was not a dry eye in the house. That was the report from people who attended Glen Allen High School’s graduation ceremonies in Richmond, Virginia this week.

Jim New was born with cerebral palsy -- and has always used a wheelchair. But when Jim because a freshman, he made it his goal to walk across the stage to receive his diploma during his high school graduation ceremony.  Four years later, Jim did just that.
