Autopsy conducted on 3-week-old infant found dead

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- An autopsy was conducted on a  3-week-old infant who was found unresponsive by her father on Thursday, June 13th -- and later died at the hospital.

The police report says the infant was sleeping in a bed with both parents when the father noticed something wrong. The infant was taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital Thursday night, June 13th around 6:30 p.m.

The autopsy report did not find any trauma to the infant, but the cause of death is still pending until a toxicology test is performed.
