Seriously, what is the city doing about all this VIOLENCE! Come on now all that is being done is talk there is no action to be done on stopping all of this! In my opinion our only choice is to ban GUNS, ETC, any kind of weapon. We can’t even enjoy our summer this year!

I agree with the gun ban. After all, that’s what allowed the Jews to conquer and Nazis way back when.

How are you going to get the bad guys to comply with a gun ban? Think about it for a moment. Do you honestly believe the bad guys are going to get in line to turn in their guns?

Most of the people shooting up Milwaukee are already felons. The Brady Law of 1993 made it illegal for a convicted felon to be in possession of a gun. To them guns are banned. Yet they carry them anyway. Why? Because they are CRIMINALS, and criminals don’t obey the rules of civil society. So how is a gun ban going to work?

California has the strictest gun control laws in the nation, yet a mentally ill person was able to legally purchase guns and then kill 3 people with them. I don’t know how to fix the problem, but I know that gun bans and more gun control laws won’t do it.

hey – a gun ban! what a great idea! the thugs won’t listen to the mayor’s call for a cease fire and all those community vigils… but they are certainly going to stop the violence if there’s a gun ban!
yep, i can see them all now… lining up at the police stations to turn in their legally acquired and registered hand guns. and then walking down to MATC to sign up for the fall semester to get that radiology degree they’ve been meaning to start on. and life in the inner city will be all marshmallows and kitty cat farts!

Do you really think that a ban on guns would stop the shootings? Are you 10 years old? These thugs do not go through legal means to get guns. A ban would mean nothing to them, and the shootings would continue. These are criminals we are talking about.

If we had gun control these fine “folks” would be home playing monopoly instead (ya right)

All this violence every night. As I type I hear the sirens going down the street. Doesn’t make any sense.

Life in killwaukee, its a blast. All we need is a wall around the ghetto and a small army to keep the animals inside.

That is not a bad idea considering that these shootings are coming from the north side and are spreading into the south side. It’s really time that communities start taking action.

We are facing a violent epidemic here in Milwaukee. Citizens that are tired of this need to stand up and say enough is enough. The religious leaders of this community need to address this issue as well and not with a “cease fire Sabbath”. The police and our politicians cannot stop this or it would of been stopped already. This is going to have to be a city wide effort and it starts in the home. The steady decline of morals and values and parents not properly raising their children has sparked now what has become a uncontrollable disease that is destroying our city.. I pray to God that those that have had enough come together and address this. We cannot put a color on this. It is beyond that. Sure they are killing one another in the inner city, and white people go into schools and movie theatres and kill in mass numbers. Our one nation under God is now one nation who is slowly killing itself. We have taken God out of our lives and this I am afraid to say is the end result. Wickedness breeds wickedness.
