RACINE (WITI) — Fire officials in Racine on Sunday, June 29th responded to a garage fire at a home in the 1400 block of Arthur Avenue.

It happened just after 3:30 p.m.

Fire officials say a fire erupted from a van about five to 10 minutes after it was parked by a garage.

The garage’s overhead door was open, allowing the fire to spread to the garage and to another vehicle inside.

Both cars and the garage were heavily damaged.

Fire officials estimate the loss in this fire to be around $30,000.

No one was injured.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
