Police clear home near Russell and Pine — domestic violence suspect hasn’t been found

MILWAUKEE (WITI) — Milwaukee police were on the scene near Russell and Pine in Milwaukee on Wednesday, July 2nd — for a domestic violence suspect.

Police say the incident started shortly before 3:00 p.m. — when the suspect struck the victim — his ex-girlfriend, with a gun during an argument outside of the residence.

Police say the suspect fled into the residence — where police believed him to be hiding.

The woman was taken to the hospital fore treatment of non life-threatening injuries.

Police say the residence was cleared at 7:30 p.m. — but the suspect was not found.

Attempts are being made to locate the suspect.

    thanks for the description. Thought that might be useful in case I meet up with the suspect at the grocery store. C’mon Fox6. A million eyes on the streets wouldn’t help MPD to locate him?
