WATCH: Mother chases after her young children during an attempted kidnapping!

PRETORIA, SOUTH AFRICA (WITI) -- Video has been released...showing a mother chasing after her two young children in an attempted kidnapping.

It happened in a shop in Pretoria, South Africa.

Video of the incident has been posted to Facebook by Dale Ribbink.

The video shows his wife shopping, with their two young children in the cart.

The mother steps out of the frame -- and then you see the cart being pushed by a woman...who's not their mom!

Then, you see the children's mother racing after the cart, as it is being pushed out of the store.

Outside of the store, video taken from a different angle shows the children's mother confronting the woman, taking hold of the cart with her children seated inside -- and pushing it back into the store.

Dale Ribbink says the woman who tried to kidnap his children was working with a group of people inside the store that day.

He has posted a second video to his Facebook page that allegedly shows two of the suspects hassling another woman -- allegedly trying to steal her wallet or her purse as she holds her young child.

Dale Ribbink says he alerted police -- saying someone tried to steal his kids, but he says the police told him there is no way he could prove that.

That's when Dale Ribbink says he took matters into his own hands.

He went to the store, obtained the store's security footage, filmed it -- and then took it to the police.

It was only then that police got involved.

Dale Ribbink says on his Facebook page that two suspects have been taken into custody. He says they were at a local fruit and vegetable stand and stole a woman's cell phone.
