Sheboygan police dispatched to home for disturbance involving fake gun

SHEBOYGAN (WITI) -- Sheboygan police arrested a woman after a disturbance at a house apparently involving a fake gun.

Officials say just before 8 p.m. on Saturday, July 25th, officers were called to a home near 7th and Mead. A 24-year-old woman reported a gun was allegedly pointed at her. The woman had left the scene but met officers nearby.

When officers approached the home, they detained two men, ages 24 and 36, in front of the house in question but a second woman retreated into the house and locked the doors. After repeated attempts to gain her cooperation failed, a warrant was obtained and officers entered the home. The 36-year-old woman was arrested for her part in the disturbance. Officers located a fake firearm which is believed to be the weapon displayed during the disturbance.

Police are asking for charges of Disorderly Conduct, Obstructing and felony Bail Jumping against the 36-year-old woman. She was transported to the Sheboygan County Detention Center.
