“Dawn” is one of the Nuneaton and Warwickshire Wildlife Sanctuary‘s six resident foxes.
Dawn cannot be returned to the wild — because Dawn is TOO TAME!
You see, as a young fox, Dawn was taken into a dog rescue center — as a member of the public who found her thought she was a dog.
When they realized she was, indeed, a fox — Dawn was taken to the Warwickshire Wildlife Sanctuary — but it was too late.
Dawn believes she’s a dog.
Dawn cannot be returned to the wild because she is too tame, and would not be able to look after herself in the wild.
WATCH as Dawn shows Geoff, the sanctuary’s founder, some love.
