CALEDONIA (WITI) — Caledonia police say four people, including two children, were taken to the hospital following a serious head-on crash that occurred on Wednesday morning, July 30th.

It happened on Highway 38 at Brook Road in the Village of Caledonia just before 8:00 a.m.

Police say at least one of the two vehicles involved traveled left of the center line and collided head-on with another vehicle.

Police say one vehicle was driven by a 43-year-old woman — and the other vehicle was driven by a 49-year-old woman.

The 49-year-old woman had her two children in the car.

All four of the people involved in this crash were taken to the hospital.

Police say the 49-year-old woman was later transferred to Froedtert Hospital — and her two children were taken to Children’s Hospital due to the extent of their injuries.

This crash remains under investigation.
