No politicking here: Democrat Mary Burke accepts Ice Bucket Challenge

MILWAUKEE (WITI/AP) -- Democratic candidate for governor Mary Burke put the politicking aside -- and accepted the Ice Bucket Challenge for ALS. And who is she challenging? Take a look.

Campaign spokesman Joe Zepecki said Burke donated $100.

Republicans Gov. Scott Walker and Sen. Ron Johnson also posted videos doing the challenge Friday.

The ice bucket challenge phenomenon was launched to raise money to fight amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. The foundation reports raising more than $11 million since July 29 because of challenges.
