NORFOLK, England — Motorcyclist David Holmes was wearing a helmet camera when he plowed into a turning car at 97 m.p.h. in Norfolk, England.

The 38-year-old was killed instantly, but the video was recovered intact. And now that video has been released by Holmes’ family in an effort to raise awareness.

Holmes mother, Brenda Holmes, is also seen in the video, which was released on YouTube this week and can be seen above. In her on-camera interview, she begs not only motorcyclists, but drivers to be more attentive on the roads.

WARNING: While the video below does not contain graphic images, it includes content some may find disturbing.

“I know (David) rode fast that day, he loved speed but he also loved life,” Brenda says in the video. “I just hope that somebody benefits from the warning; that people slow down and take time to look for bikes.”

He was driving like a jerk, weaving in and out of traffic, driving way too fast. What did he think was going to happen?!

Sorry for your loss, but your son was driving wrecklessly and to fast for conditions. There was a intersection coming up, you slow down in anticipation of someone turning in front of you.

The only thing that showed me was that if he hadnt been doing 100mph the other drive might have actually had time to see him. How can you see a motorcycle going that fast? He was speeding, this was his fault not the other drivers. Im sorry if that is offensive but it is the truth of it. All this does to prove is how dangerous motorcycles are, I bet if he had a car he wouldnt have been weaving in and out of traffic like that. This is what happens. This should be proof positive that these things need to be outlawed, immediately.

You can’t blame the motorcycle for the actions of the operator. All motorized means of transportation are deadly if no treated properly.

such a shame so much negative and harsh talk, ok he was going fast, but cars do pull out without looking, it happens everyday, RIP young man, and thank you to your parents for sharing this video, lets learn from mistakes, not judge people for theirs.

A car has NO time to react of even see a motorcycle traveling at almost 100 miles an hour. There are tons or ignorant drivers out there for sure! But this driver was not at fault.

I completely understand the motorcyclists mother wanting to do something to prevent this from happening to someoe else and my heart goes out to her. With that said, it is wrong to blame the motorist for turning in front of that motorcycle. At those erratic and reckless speeds, the motorist couldnt have seen that cycle or predicted how fast it was moving and then react in time to avoid a collision. Generally when you make a decision to turn, you dont expect someone to come out of nowhere at a 100 plus mph and cross into your pathway. The sad thing is, this reckless driver paid the ultimate price for his need for speed but the real victim here is the driver of the car who most likely had their world turned upside down by such a horrific accident. Sorry if that was insensitive, but I am a traffic reconstruction investigator and have some expertise in the correlation between speed and reaction time.

Choosing the perfect car seat for your baby can be tricky because as a baby grows, the car seat needs change.
With the increase in cost of baby items, many parents are turning towards second hand baby clothing and other

How on earth is it possible that you have a speed limit of 60 mph on a road with crossings?! That’s just plain crazy! I don’t blame either driver as much as whoever planned that traffic situation in the first place.
In Sweden you never see crossings in the same plane on aroad with a speed limit of more than 45 mph. Crossings leading to anything but smaller roads with very little traffic only occur at speed limits of 30 mph or less.

There are also models that fully recline for those babies who are very young still and need to
lie down. A baby should ideally be never left unattended while he
is laying or sleeping in Moses basket. Some models have lots of storage space in the back to hold
    supplies for long outings.
