Doors Open Milwaukee holds some hidden treasures

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Up to 100,000 people are expected to visit several Milwaukee buildings this weekend. It's all part of "Doors Open" Milwaukee.

The event kicked off inside City Hall on Saturday morning, September 20th.

People can tour 160 building sites around the city, including the U.S. Bank Center, Gas Light Building, and Federal Court House.

Visitors at the BMO Harris Bradley Center toured locker rooms, and got an up close look at the zamboni.

"It's basically an all access pass to the back-doors of Milwaukee and this is kind of a once a year opportunity and not something people get to see all the time so might as well take advantage of it and see as much as you can so, I'm going over to the Milwaukee Theatre next," said Paul Henning, a Doors Open Milwaukee visitor.

Doors Open Milwaukee continues through Sunday, September 21st from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
