Pooches, paws, and people unite at Petfest!

MILWAUKEE (WITI) — It was pets galore at Henry Maier Festival Park on Saturday afternoon, September 20th for Fromm’s Annual Petfest! The free event encourages owners to bring our their pets for a day of fun.

Activities include dock diving, agility courses, and grooming competitions — as well as seminars, live music and an adoption area.

Money raised at Petfest benefits the Wisconsin Humane Society and the Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission.

“You see all the people here with their pets, all the dogs seem to be well behaved that I see so I think it’s a good event for families, for kids and just for people in general,” said pet lover, Paul Godbout.

FOX6 News Brad Hicks was one of the judges on Saturday for the best howl, best costume, and people-pet look-a-like contests.
