MILWAUKEE (WITI) — Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett on Monday, September 22nd unveiled the new “City of Milwaukee mobile app” — designed to help residents report issues to city officials right from their mobile phone.

With the “MKE Mobile” app, residents will be able to report issues including abandoned vehicles, graffiti, potholes, weeds/tall grass complaints, street light outages and more.

MKE Mobile can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or the Google Playstore.

So for the last couple months the MKE Mobile app won’t load on any of my android devices and by the reviews online, no one else is able to get the application to open. I tried to email the developer of the application ( but the message comes back undeliverable. Looking at the developers other applications for other cities, it looks like no one else is getting support either.

I expect tax payers are paying for this application and I hope a fix or replacement application is in the works.
