Lambeau Field hasn't hosted a concert since 2011 -- but that could change next year!

GREEN BAY (AP) — Because of construction at Lambeau Field, the Green Bay Packers' home stadium hasn't hosted a concert or major event inside the bowl since Kenny Chesney visited in 2011.

That could change next year. The Green Bay-Brown County Professional Stadium District is expected to take up the possibility this week.

WLUK-TV (http://bit.ly/1qnb0Rx ) reports team president Mark Murphy had said in the past that because the Chesney concert was successful in 2011, the Packers are hoping to host another concert in 2015. But the dates would be limited to mid-May to late June to give the organization plenty of time to get the field ready for the season.
