Shocking discovery found on train tracks in Kenosha

KENOSHA (WITI) — There was a gruesome discovery in Kenosha on Saturday, September 27th. Authorities say body parts were found on train tracks.

A Union Pacific crew member called police around 1:30 p.m. Authorities say it appears somebody was struck by the train in the area near 80th and Sheridan.

Investigators are still trying to figure out when the person was hit, or what led up to it.

The train tracks were closed as officers were conducting a search over a large area.
