Kenosha police identify body found on railroad tracks near 80th and Sheridan

KENOSHA (WITI) -- Kenosha police have identified a body discovered on railroad tracks near 80th Street, east of Sheridan Road on Saturday afternoon, September 27th.

Police say the body is that of 35-year-old Shane Miller.

Body parts were found on train tracks around 1:30 p.m. Saturday, after a Union Pacific crew member called authorities.

Police say their preliminary investigation has determined Miller was struck by a southbound freight train near 68th Street someone after 10:00 p.m. Friday, September 26th.

The incident remains under investigation.
