Motorcyclist killed when bike, pickup truck collide near 67th and North Avenue in Wauwatosa

Fatal crash at 67th & North

MILWAUKEE (WITI) — A motorcyclist was killed on Monday afternoon, September 29th in a crash involving a pickup truck that occurred near 67th and North Avenue in Wauwatosa.

Police say the motorcycle was headed eastbound on North Avenue and the pickup truck was headed northbound on N. 67th Street. The truck and the motorcycle collided, and the motorcyclist was killed.

It is unclear at this point what caused the collision.

Police say no one else was injured.

We’re told no citations or arrests have been made in this case. Police do not believe alcohol or drugs were factors in this incident.

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office was dispatched to the scene — an indication that the incident involved a fatality.

The identity of those involved in this incident haven’t yet been released.

Police continue to investigate.

    Every intersection on that stretch of North Ave. is incredibly dangerous. The traffic on North moves too fast and there are very few intersections with lights and none with 4 way stops. I have had several close calls trying to cross North because you can never see around all of the parked cars and buildings.
