Victims in double homicide in Berlin, Wis. suffered multiple gunshot wounds

BERLIN, Wis. (WITI) -- Autopsies have been completed for the two victims of a double homicide in Berlin, Wis. from Saturday evening.

The autopsies were performed at the Fond du Lac County Medical Examiner's Office. The victims, Justin Daniels and Melissa Tuinstra, both died from multiple gunshot wounds.

The Berlin Police Department indicates it is following up on numerous leads and evidence that has been collected in this case. Much of it is being prepared for analysis by the State Crime Labs in Madison and Milwaukee. The final reports from the autopsies are pending -- and awaiting toxicology reports.
