Police called out to Kmart store in Wauwatosa for second bomb threat in as many days

WAUWATOSA (WITI) -- Wauwatosa police were called out to the Kmart store on Mayfair Road again Thursday, October 2nd for a bomb threat. Police were called out to the store on Wednesday evening for a bomb threat that they later determined wasn't credible.

Police say in Thursday's bomb threat, a call was made to the store, in which the person calling said store personnel had seconds to leave the building before a bomb would explode in the store.

Officers were able to determine the threat to be baseless. Police are working to determine who is behind this threat.

We're told the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office's Bomb Squad wasn't called out to the scene on Thursday.
