Slain soldier vigil held in Ottawa

OTTAWA (WITI) -- Mourners gathered at Canada's National War Memorial to honor a slain soldier. Corporal Nathan Cirillo was gunned down by a person the Government is calling a terrorist.

Those who attended the vigil lit candles, held hands and laid flowers.

Thousands have already paid tribute to the 24-year-old as his body was returned to his home town on Friday.

Cirillo's funeral is planned for Tuesday.
