MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- A Milwaukee alderman says key information is being kept under wraps in the Dontre Hamilton case -- that includes an eye witness account from another alderman.

Alderman Joe Davis says there is a lot of uncertainty in the case. He wants eye witness accounts and an investigative report to be released to clear up confusion.

"I think it's a travesty," said Davis.

Six-months have passed.

"We never lose sight of the incident that occurred," said Davis.

And there are still unknowns.

"Wherever the decision lies, the decision needs to be made in an expeditious manner," Davis said.

In late April, Dontre Hamilton was shot and killed by Milwaukee Police Officer, Christopher Manney. Manney was ultimately terminated for his actions leading up to the shooting.

"There were several shots that were fired, we know," said Davis.

For Alderman Joe Davis, the frustration lies in what has not been made public. Eye witness accounts, photos and any video have not been released. Something he wants changed.

"If it's in the report, if it has been investigated, then let's get the truth," said Davis.

One of the witnesses in the case is Alderman Bob Bauman.

"My thought was, my god there's a cop shooting a citizen in Red Arrow Park," said Bauman.

His office at City Hall overlooks Red Arrow Park.

"Straight sight-line to where the shooting took place. What I did see was the activity after gunfire began," said Bauman.

Bauman has been interviewed by police and state investigators. But his account hasn't been made public. He's waiting for all of it to come out in a report.

"The sooner the decisions are made, the better," said Bauman.

Hoping for some closure, where there are still so many unknowns.

"No time is a good time, the best time is to tell the truth," said Davis.

The District Attorney still hasn't made a decision on if charges will be filed against Manney. The FBI and an independent expert are reviewing the case.

The DA's office is still waiting on their reports.

I agree they need to make a decision, but whatever it may be..the decision needs to be accepted and people need to act like grown ups.. and let the court, judge etc do their jobs ie: no riots, etc if they don’t hear what they want to hear…
