MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Shank Hall on Milwaukee's east side is celebrating its 25th anniversary this month. It all started New Year's Eve in 1988, when the space, once known as Teddy's and the Funny Bone Comedy Club, closed for good. Leaving behind a building that music promoter Peter Jest knew he had to get his hands on.
