Heavy snow coats northern Wisconsin for the first time this season

10434344_637456729696995_5128901048638199369_nWISCONSIN (WITI) — Northern Wisconsin is getting its first serious dose of winter — as several inches of snow fell on the region on Monday, November 10th. The weather is the result of a “bomb cyclone” — a swiftly and markedly intensifying storm — that shifted the path of the jet stream and sent cold air rushing toward the United States, CNN meteorologist Dave Hennen said.

In Wisconsin, a school bus slipped off a road in Outagamie County. No students were hurt, but the driver and an aide were taken to a hospital for evaluation, the station reported.
