With precipitation, potential snow in the forecast, it's time to re-evaluate your driving habits!

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The National Weather Service has forecasted an 80% chance of precipitation for Tuesday, November 11th, to include the possibility of minor snow accumulation -- and that has the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office asking drivers to take a moment to re-evaluate their driving habits.

The Sheriff's Office says it’s not uncommon to see multiple “fender-benders” as people adjust to the changing weather this time of the year.  The Sheriff's Office's goal is to have zero fatalities and zero serious personal injury accidents.

The Sheriff's Office has issued the following tips for drivers:


    Motorists involved in minor property damage crashes only can report their crash via the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office website, www.mkesheriff.org, by clicking on Snow Emergency Crash Reporting.

    Drivers have 24 hours after the crash to report it online or in person at a satellite crash-reporting site.
