MILWAUKEE (WITI) — A plan to convert a historic Pabst Brewing building into housing for international college students has been approved.

Milwaukee’s Plan Commission has unanimously approved the project.

The developers will also seek approval from the city’s Historic Preservation Commission.

If they get the go-ahead, a former bottling building will be renovated into a 150-unit dorm.

The international students will come from Milwaukee’s downtown universities.
