DODGE COUNTY (WITI) — Dodge County Sheriff’s officials say a 29-year-old man from the city of Lake Mills is dead after his vehicle, traveling the wrong way on U.S. Highway 151, collided with a pickup truck early Saturday morning, November 22nd.

Sheriff’s officials say minutes after 4:00 a.m., they received a report of a two-vehicle crash on Highway 151, south of N. Salem Road in the Town of Calamus.

An initial investigation determined a 29-year-old Lake Mills man was headed southbound in the northbound lanes of Highway 151 when his vehicle collided with a pickup truck being driven by a 26-year-old woman from the City of Beaver Dam.

The female driver was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

The Lake Mills man was pronounced dead at the scene. He has been identified as 29-year-old Jesse Becker.

An initial investigation shows alcohol may have been a factor in this crash.
