Crash on I-43 in Walworth County forces officials to shut down freeway for hours

WALWORTH COUNTY (WITI) -- Dense fog early Sunday, November 30th may have been to blame for a crash on I-43 in Walworth County.

The crash happened just before 1:00 a.m. in the northbound lanes of I-43 near Highway 67.

All northbound lanes were closed for about three hours as crews worked to clean up the damage.

Officials have not released what caused the crash -- or whether anyone was hurt.
