MANITOWOC COUNTY (WITI) – The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources says it is investigating a shooting involving two hunters in Manitowoc County. This, according to FOX6's sister station, WLUK in Green Bay.

A DNR warden supervisor says the incident happened Saturday, November 29th on private land near the Clarks Mills area near the village of Valders.

He says a 16-year-old from Reedsville was shooting at a deer in the field with a shotgun.

However, he hit a 24-year-old Brillion man who was in a wooded area.

The Brillion man’s injuries are serious but non life-threatening.
