MADISON (WITI) — Money may be coming to you soon if you have cell phone service through T-Mobile.

Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen announced Friday, December 19th, T-Mobile owes the state about $278,000 for what’s called “cramming.” That’s when providers add on fees, typically a $9.99 a month for horoscopes, trivia, and sports scores services customers without your consent.

The payout is part of a $90 million national settlement.

T-Mobile is the second mobile telephone to enter into a nationwide settlement to resolve allegations regarding cramming.
